Don't let the Oscar award fool you playa - I git it on Fridays...

Hype Williams videos are always about big pimpin' and the 'Blame It' video emphasises just that! I heard this track a while back and found myself dancing along to it without realising so I knew that this would be a better single than 'Just Like Me' [although it featured T.I no one really cared!].

Okay, so this video shocked the hair off my face [I currently look like the girl in The Ring....essay stress...don't ask...]. It may look like a music video but it isn't....I think it's a peep into what happens at the Oscar afterparties.

"...And the award for the most multiple-award winners in one music video goes to.....JAMIIEEEEE FOOOOOOOOOXX!"

The video starts off with the eponymous 'Hype Williams' tag so everyone will probably jizz...then a Rolls Royce pulls up into the frame and this is where everyone blows their wig.....guess who is driving....

JAKE GYLLENHAAL?!

Who's riding shotgun.....

FOREST bloomin' WHITAKER!!!

Who's chillin' in the back with Jamie Foxx.......[drum roll]....actually I won't ruin it...it's THAT SHOCKIIIIIIIIIIIING!!! I will give you a hint: He used to act in a popular sitcom alongside a guy in a cool jacket and now he makes movie gold......I think the dude was ALSO as shocked as me because his wig blew off a long time before the video even started...hahaha! From now on I will refer to him as anonymous...

Anyways....this anonymous shock element is a G! He's a serious G! I give him ratings for appearing in this video...he's so out of place that he will make many 'no homo' hip hop heads forget that Jake Gyllenhaal was brokebackin' it all over that mountain!!! The 'anonymous dude' does this by ignoring the hip hop dress code of mean muggin' and instead does a nerdy eyebrow twitch at the viewer as if he was saying, "Helloo - tonight, I'm playing a 'G'!"He also does the obligatory 'raising a glass of champers to the camera' move which cracked me up LOL!!! [Enter the anonymous dude's name here] I salute you.

But that's not all folks.....SAMUEL L. JACKSON is puff-puff-passin' with some vide-hos in the back of the club!!! This video is like some weird dream....which may be the whole reason behind the video. The chorus lyrics, 'Blame it on the alcohol...', indicate that Hype wanted to show how even the most respected names in the business like to get all liquered up and high with some booty-clappin' vide-hos .......Samuel L. is THE most convincing. I can tell he parties on a regs!

Here is a list of other people I spotted (there's probably more that I didn't notice):

Morris Chestnut

Bill Bellamy

Cedric the Entertainer

That dude from Usher's 'Caught Up' video and the movie, 'Ray'

and QUINCY 'friggin' JONESSSSS!!!!!

Good Points: The red room effect which I thought emphasised 'the results after chemical processes' theme....oscar winners + alcohol....get it....dahwell

The facial expression 'anonymous dude' makes when he steps out the car...priceless

Bad Points: The appearance of a BIGGGGG white label on Gyllenhaal's scarf!!!!! Eurgh! I hate when people don't take tags of scarves! That is my PET HATE!!!

The randomination of famous people and no real reason to back such randomness is also annoying

Just when I thought things were goin well...

My first day back at uni (I missed the other lectures this week haha) so I think that was the reason why I got on the tube in the direction of South London.....my subconscious was telling me 'GO HOME ROGER!'. Embarrassed, I contemplated when I should or should not get off....'wait a second - these people don't even know that I got on the wrong tube so why am I trying to hide it- QUICK - doors - closing!!!!'. Me being who I am, I was already late to my 2.30pm lesson [as usual] so this didn't make it any better. Then again I am late to every lesson. So much so that a girl in one of my lectures complained about me at the Board of Studies Meeting with the uni officials:

'This girl who is always late [obviously that is me!] has been late to EVERY lecture and seminar we have - it's not right - she is always late and I am on time but she is always allowed in [boo hoo!] - it disrupts my learning [What learning??? You're too busy kissing-ass!] - we have to stop this [YES! We must!]....'

She then broke down in front of all the lecturers and students. I was told that there was a very awkward silence before the lecturers moved on to other more 'important' issues ha! Maybe that's why I'm starting to enjoy being late....seeing her turn blue in the face makes my sun SHINE! And I don't disrupt anyone because they all KNOW I'm going to be late. Maybe I should text her to let her know when I'm coming so it's not surprise and she can concentrate better. LOL! I think she tried to snitch on me because she was stressed and I always look happy - even when I'm sad. *Rubbish Polish accent*I forgive.

Later that day, I am told that I have a fine of £39.90 in library books. Books that I HAVE NOT EVEN GOT ROUND TO USING YET!!!!! True to form, I shrugged it off and concentrated on a happy place.......happy place......happy place.....HAPPY PLAAAAACE.....

The upside of today was that I had scrambled eggs on toast for dinner in a cafe with some uni dudes to celebrate the return of one the dudes who spent half the year 'enriching' her Spanish degree in sunny Espana [too long a sentence]. After that we went to another gals house to jam-a-lam even though we all have unfinished dissertations. Lots of laughing at Sisqo's adlibs in Lil Kim's 'How Many Licks' video, Aubrey O'Day and Amber Rose's ex-GIRLFRIEND (I told you she was a fame-ho!).

LENT starts today!!! I always flop on the start date so I wanna be on point this year! Hmmm....what to give up:

CHOCOLATE? Yeah I'ma give up chocolate! Oh and I wanna give up losers too!!!

I will now attempt to do work.....attempt. Intrinsic and intertextual........drool!

[I just yawned the 'tired yawn'.....dammit!]
This video cheered me up some mo'....

"I can't believe today was a Good Day..."

ONE)

I watched all four of the Skins episodes I had missed over the past few weeks....I absolutely HATE watching shows that are 'aimed' at teenagers/20-somethings [ARRGHHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW DECREPID I AM...21 yuck!] but I just can't help but watch Skins. I think I know why though....other than Luke Pasqualino's face [Nope, I didn't have to check how to spell his name....yes, I am fan lol] it is because COOK is tooo funny! It was the 'Cook' episode that encouraged me to go forth and fall in love with his foolish antics. I, for one, think his character is so unbelievably real [I mean unbelievable in a sense that Skins is not at all close to reality so Cook is their exception] simply because within the few episodes shown so far, Cook has displayed a set of characteristics and layers that many of us have encountered in irritatingly, immature, lovable lads in real life.

A quick lowdown of the things I love about 'Cook':
  • I love how offended he gets when someone threatens his Cook-ness [Freddie attempting to take one of Cook's conquests, Effy, annoys Cook because he sees himself as the most sexually cultured out of his little gang...and little, it is]....

  • I love his little pseudonyms he randomly makes up for himself and his friends, 'cookie monster'....'gay-jay'....

  • I love how the most simple things bring him joy [much like his DEAD birthday party in the pub ...'Lets go MENTAAALLLLL', Cook yelled as he poured beer over his face to my delight]

  • I love how his character displays a confusion between realising he has a childish tendency of 'over-excitedness' rather than a 'big-man' rebellious nature....like a schoolboy looking up an unaware, girl's skirt or a child in a sweet shop...

  • I love how he loves the company of friends but treats them like crap [not because of the unfairness but because it displays how messed up his idea of 'friendship' is]....

  • I love how the only time I have detected a real sense of Cook loving or respecting someone has been when he becomes defensive about his admiration for that pub dude [is his name Keith??], even though he's slept with the 'beautiful' Effy....

  • I love how Cook's mod-influenced dress sense is so 'put together' to add to his character but doesn't come off as 'try-hard', akin to that blond Naomi chick....

  • I love how he hasn't realised that his cockiness doesn't demonstrate his confidence but makes him the most emotionally, vulnerable out of the Skins pack he seems to have dominion over....

  • I LOVED how the 'Cook' episode ended.....it captured his nonchalance towards the calamity he caused and how able he is to just shrug off detrimental aspects to his life....

  • I love how I can go on and on about him and not get bored because his character is THAT interesting to me....even if some of what I said doesn't make sense - I enjoyed writing it [LOL]. I know this Cook essay is sad but it was either analyse 'how we construct the ideology of families through photographs' or analyse Skins....I chose the latter and fun-ner option....and merely for the LOVE of analysing stuff!

TWO)

I found a song that I have been trying to look for since 2001....I heard it in a club around 2005 and was soooo excited because I knew the DJ would have the artist's details on his vinyl. He told me it was: 'Richard Nixon'.....at the time, I was like 'Gee - thanks!'......that was until it clicked that Nixon was a president.

Me and my scatty self tried to piece together bits of lyrics but all I could remember was the chorus:

"I gotta...get her,

I gotta...get her,

Sumthin-sumthin TIME TONIIIIIGHT,

Sumthin-sumthin RIIIIGHT"

Doesn't look promising does it. That's exactly what I thought. However, in vain, I attempted to search for it again today as the melody popped into my head when I got up this morning.....and by jove - I GOT IT!!!!!

Although it was only a 30 second clip I found, I am ecstatic! The song is not SUPER amazing but I loved it at the time. It is one of many anonymous songs that I never saved onto a cassette [LOL] during my pirate radio station days and it instantly takes me back to my days of endless radio listening in between High school homework. I probably won't tell anyone what it was because I'm very cagey when it comes to music [it is my only selfish quality] LOL!!! In relation to this, I used to listen to Jazmine Sullivan when I started uni - I didn't tell anyone about her because I wanted her to myself HAHA! I also do this secret thing with samples.....I LOVE searching for samples that are chopped, flipped, sped up, interpolated, recreated - you name it......No really you name it, cos I won't haha!!! I'm cagey when it comes to music, in a 'I found him first so go find your own damn man' kinda way.

P.S. Yet again - I didn't have pancakes to celebrate Pancake day!!!! I hate that I missed a day dedicated to all things sweet and yummy! I'ma just make some this weekend haha....

British Hustle: Question

My friend and one of my many mentors, Mr Nicholas Adams, [a lot of people feel the need to constantly shout at me 'GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE AND STOP BEING SHY!'], does a lot. Whilst studying AND training for the olympics as an athlete [see I told you- A LOT] he and a friend, Ade, started their own clothing label, Question. I have already worn one of their tees to death among many other people [I'm still waiting on that replacement tee dude - gotta keep it fresh mayne!] and I know he has many other projects coming soon so I will definitely be posting the details of that soon.

In the meantime, here are some photos Mr Adams, himself, in the 'lab' and a photo of me wearing the tee in Question [notice what I did there...smart eh? Lol!] whilst dancing on a table....I was tryna promote the tee, I swear it lol!

'Back for the First Time'

I have just got back to uni after my 'week of waste' and I feel like it's my first time being in this dull place. I noticed this feeling of unfamiliarity as I turned the key in my door an unnecessary amount of times even though it was open after the first turn. I also forgot about the annoying chicken that crows around 10.45pm (yes - some idiot leaving nearby has a chicken and it crows soooo much that I KNOW what times during the day/night that it will make that unearthly yelp!).

After dumping my bags, I checked to see if anyone had stolen my unwashed pasta pan in the kitchen, 'Still there - good,' as if anyone would take it. Walking ever so slowly as I marvelled at the oh-so fresh suede-ness of my new kick-a-licks [see below], I returned to my room to find the light was off. Now, everyone knows I tend to have the memory of Dory so me being lost, I simply turned the light back on, 'OH - the light went out - I get it ....great...aaawww man - that creepy, freshy security guard who used to try and move to my friends when they lived on halls is the only person who can help me....I don't even make eye contact with him.....maybe I should just ask him - hold up - but that means he has to come into my room - nahhh bruv - not with them shoes he's been trekking the vomit-strewn halls with - ya must be mad cuzzy! Actually, I can deal with the darkness.....but the Freemasons might get me in the night.....right - lets go to the security dude....'

So after swallowing a lot of pride (and I mean A LOT), I went to the security dude's office and told him my light went out.

"Erm - hi..."

"Hiii..."

"....yeaaa erm - my light went out so erm I was just wondering if [images of him walking with me into my room crept up again 'ABORT, ABORT!']....I was wondering if I could ask for help from... the maintenance people [yeah - nice diversion] tomorrow - the morning right? - because I don't mind, as you have to guard this place overnight, I don't wanna-"

"Don't worry - you can fix it yourself....have you done it before?"

"Yeah?" Nope. [Double Entendre]

"So you just turn it round yeh....here's the bulb alright...you do know-"

"Yeah - I do - thanks."

Taking off, like a bullet, back to my room, a feeling of relief entered my lungs, 'That wasn't so bad.....now, back to the light.' You know those big ol' round lights that are fixed on bathroom walls and that - my campus room has one of those so I knew the deal, 'twist and OFF'! So as I got through to the 78th turn, I accepted that this ain't a 'twist and off' job'.
"I bet he knew I would'nt be able to do this....fool....well I ain't goin' back that's fo' sure!"

So I'm using my precious Ikea bedroom lamp now. I hate using up my own stuff when I got free stuff to burn out!

Oh and that rave that I was supposed to be drowning my sorrows in.....how about I didn't get in! It was THAT packed! 'I'm not going to another', I decided! I'm moving on to a different free rave where scene people are not a priority but a minority. I won't be doing this until I finish uni in April and counting >>> [Check my countdown, ha!]

And my posts are going to become bitter at times because I'm not in South ...I'm at uni...where the sun never shines.

NOW, back to footwear! I quite like the LA Lakers colourway so I fulfilled this 'like' in a pair of Nike Blazer High Premiums last year. However, recently I bought the lovely LA Delta Force kicks, so now I'm sooooo over the Blazers. To be honest, the Blazers are half a size too big! BUT I got them because they were in the Boxing Day sale at Niketown (and are still full price in my place of work for some strange reason!?!?!). I was getting a deal at Niketown so I was ON IT! Not anymore though, as my unworn Blazers have never come out of their box since then haha!

Which ones do you think are better [it won't affect my decision muahaha!]....or should I just keep both even though I'm as broke as a bank?

The week of Waste

It's Friday. I look back at the week and realise that I have wasted the last holiday I have before I hand in my final year work. I spent the week with a lopsided afro (my hair was in a curly afro cos I couldn't be bothered to stratighten it after I went to Work It). All the waste postmen got a glimpse of me rocking the Sideshow Bob do, mismatch house clothes much to my Mum's annoyance ("FIX YOUR HAIR, KARA! Don't be so bush!"). I have such crazy issues going on in my head, I can't begin comprehend them myself. Nor do I have the urge to bore my family with them.

I played the 'I'm doing work' game all week by not telling anyone that the hours I spent on the laptop were not for uni purposes. They were for 'me' purposes. This is the time that I spend completely blocking out the real world. Being 'me' meant that not once did I research things for my dissertation (even though I created a dissertation idea about my first love, music), I ignored the emails from uni, questions about uni etc. ANYTHING that would help me towards finishing uni, was alien to me this week. This now means that I am a week behind everyone at uni and all the work I handed in for the primary deadline (which was total rubbish), I now have to do EVERYDAY in between lectures and sleeping. Basically, by lazying around this week, I have risked the outcome of my sanity and the prospect of leaving uni with a 2:1!!!

Yes, I told myself I was going to be totally ghost in my final year and no, I have not lived up to this. So, yet again, last minute is when I decide to get serious. This means extra stress and even more effort to not go shopping every minute of my life! HAHAHAHA [manic laughter whilst my eyes widen from the shock that I am laughing in such disaterous times].

One kind lecturer let me know what one of my marks was out of three final pieces I have handed in last week. It was a point away from a First degree mark. This was quite annoying because it reminded me of the brains I DO have.....but I'm just too lazy to use them - and I hate my uni. My friends think I'm just being the 'joker' when I say I hate uni. It's not the student life that annoys me, it's the course content. I feel cheated - like they lied about the course just to get me trapped in some academic hell where the devil wears bad clothes and throws quick-fire round questions at you when they know that somehow among all that fire and brimstone, you have been asleep.

My friend took a pic of the Alps from an aeroplane and posted it on Facebook this week - very nice it was...my comment was something along the lines of: "The money I would pay just to jump out of that plane onto the Alps.....".

My nails are drying. I'm waking up in five hours to go to work. After work, I'm going to party with the losers in the previous post's photos![I wrote this coz I don't like leaving things on a bad note....its so selfish!] Oh and I call different sets of my friends 'Dudes', 'Biatches', 'Bozo's', 'Losers'.....don't ask why....but each group is used to it now coz they know it's all LURVE BABY!!!!
Oh and my hair has grown a LITTLE teeny bit, so that made me happy cos I was malting like Sheeba the friggin cat around New Years, so my spirits are slowly lifting.

I'm not reading over this for mistakes.....going to uni is a mistake, but I don't complain. DO I!
ARGGHHHHH...why are birds chirping!!!! I'm going to bed NOWWWW!!

EXCLUSIVE: RHIANNA'S BEATEN FACE

My heart literally skipped a beat when I saw this. It seemed fun to joke about the Rhianna Vs Chris Brown issue but I'm sure that after this photo many of us will take a moment to think. Yes, Rhianna probably did provoke him to switch on her as Chris Brown looks like a weedy, little boy but for CB to do this to the woman he claims to 'love', displays a real problem. For someone that has admitted in previous interviews that he has witnessed his own father beat up his mother, this is not good. Chris Brown is just another sad case of the cycle repeating itself.

The one thing I really do not want to see is Rhianna on Oprah sobbing, 'I am so grateful for the support of my fans and the public. If it weren't for you guys I wouldn't have been able to re-release my new album *Rhianna wipes her tears clean to pose for the cameras* Good Girl Good Relationship Gone Bad Gone Police Station Gone Photographic Evidence Gone Platinum'.....out March 30th...'. Knowing her, she probably will use this to boost the album sales of Good Girl Gone Bad (that album she released three years ago).

On a serious note, I hope both of them recover for their own sake.

Wasted:Gorilla Zoe 'Lost' Video

Okay, so the track starts and before the beat drops you'll be like, 'G'yeaaaaah we about to crunked UP!'

....Gorilla Zoe starts to rap:
"Walking a-round....looking for a way....no one tells me which way to go...."
I'm like, 'WHAT THE?!?!? Golly-gosh, his flow is amazingly WHACK! Bruv! My eyesight is perfectly fine so why is he giving me an audio description of the video? This rap-talk is sounding like he's got Vick's rubbed all over his face!?! ....Never a good look.'

Gorilla Zoe seriously flopped on this one so lowering my 'skank arms', I regain my composure. My face instantly screws up as I try to understand the mindset one must have to rap like an idiot in public. [That's it - he sounds like that Reh Dogg guy on YouTube!] Anyway, as I scan the obligatory entourage walking with him, I see a familiar face. Breathing down his Zoe's neck is another gorilla, Rick Ross. A-ha....now that explains it! I'm watching a WR convention (Whack Rappers).

I think the title of this song explains the plot he once had. However, a lot of people are feeling this track in the US... I'm not. You might. Watch and decide if you like it....

And this is what Gorilla Zoe's video reminds me of.....the world famous, Reh Dogg...

Celeb Couples: Kanye West & Amber Rose

Do you remember seeing a golden nugget in Ludacris' video 'What Them Girls Like'? Did it look like this...

Well, then you are already familiar with Kanye's alleged new squeeze, Amber Rose. Very pretty isn't she?

Style wise, she looks cute with Kanye. I initially thought she was just a regular fashionista, however, I see famedigger traits as she recently did a magazine spread, topless (I was going to say 'nude' but it was straight up Men's mag type stuff so I won't give you the false impression that it was classy lol).

It's a shame she is a vide-ho...she looks like she shouldn't sell herself so short. Kanye seems to be giving her a fast track to super stardom so there must be more to her than this video cameo.

Although, we all know Kanye is going through some issues at the moment so lets hope we don't see a Rhianna Vs Chris Brown relapse, because if I'm honest...Amber looks like she could beat KANYE up!!! She looks a lil too fierce, a blogger commented that she looked like a 'light skinned Grace Jones'. Amber Rose....Grace Jones....both such sweet names right? Kinda sound like they should be at home, baking or something. LOL. That's the trick! Now Grace Jones is a fierce NO ONE wants to mess with. NO ONE. So be careful of this 'Amber Rose', Kanye.....she may be a rose but rose have thorns right..?

Note: What do you think about Kanye clashing denims in the photos above?

Is it me or is her shape up better than his......

Awards: The BRITS 2009

Pics will come later if they are worthy enough but I'm just writing this as I watch so bear with my longness.....

First off I thought KYLIE was muggin' me off with a performance of 'Can't Get You Outta My Head', then I saw that it was a comedic entrance for those guys off that programme

U2
...recycled visuals from the grammys and Bono in guyliner

KATY PERRY in a sparkly corset adorned with chains and Hello Kitty

FEARNE COTTON ...huh? Is this an award show or Smile?? This is one thing that annoys me with the BRITS ....they insist on interacting with people at home!!! Stop it!! Act like the Grammys and make us feel like complete outsiders who are of no use to the rich and glamourous....maybe it will look less tacky.....wait a minute...Fearne is presenting outside a caravan...oooookayyy...

GIRLS ALOUD
......or...GIRLS [who shouldn't be]ALOUD[to sing]....why did they spend all that time covering up their dresses when, by way of the camera angles, we still saw their 'spectacular' nude coloured dresses - BAIT!!! And they CANNOT sing (except for Nadine Coyle) so why did they decide it was a good idea to have just their heads on show for most of the performance.....we only watch you turnips because of your outfits....which are not even all that most of the time

The mastercard advert with that woman singing one of my favourite chooons!!! This is the performance to beat tonight....

I like the black and cobalt blue suit the presenting dude is rockin' (what is his NAME??!?!)

THE LAST OF THE SHADOW PUPPETS
missed out on the award for (whoops missed it lol) but they are sick so they don't need it...Duffy wins and says, 'Oh gosh - I'm starting to recognise your faces', to the audience....ERM don't get excited Duffy...you've only been up there twice bruv....

COLDPLAY perform Viva la Vida.....although it is overplayed....this is one of the best songs from them in ages......Chris Martin dancing - he doesn't know this but he is doing the Shoulder Lean at the moment haha!! Brap, brap!!

[The camera freezes during the show on this random bearded guy...creepy]

NATALIE IMBRUGLIA presents......her face is too hot so I missed what award she is giving away...but Kings of Leon won.....they thank God....bless 'em!

DUFFY sings Warwick Avenue....her red dress is a little dry....what a beautiful set....my Mum loves all things art deco so I'm sure she will love this too...the orchestra backing her is sooo yummy

Mastercard woman is back again wooooo lol.....wait - she's exposing my much loved song....they need to lay off rinsing the advert now.....

TAKE THAT....now don't front.....you know you know all the words to their songs too.....they perform on a really cool floating spaceship type podium....very effective....

DAVID HASSLEHOFF passes tru to hand out awards....he's still THAT GUY

KINGS OF LEON perform the 'Use Somebody'.....the lead guy's voice kinda reminds me of Curtis Stiger sometimes...

KANYE WEST wins Best international Male and says a bunch of crap that was enough to distract me from the annoying Lionel Richie steez. They both like talking about themselves though....I heard a radio interview with Richie yesterday and woke up in an even deeper sleep...

THE TING TINGS & ESTELLE .....OH NO SHE DIDN'T!!! She blatantly stole Kanye's blazer from the Grammys!!!!!!! THIEF!!! HOW DARE SHE!!! I'm peeking through my hands as I cringe at both vocalists fighting to further their 20 minutes of fame...

GIRLS ALOUD won their first BRIT ever for Best Single....hmmm....

TOM JONES! Wow...he really has left the hair dye at home!!! He presents DUFFY with her third BRIT for Best British Album.....she deserves it though

BRANDON FLOWERS still big pimpin' with that feathered shoulders blazer....I need to raid his wardrobe...his jackets are always on point! He gives a personal, heart-warming account whilst intorducing this year's Outstanding Contribution to music winners, the PET SHOP BOYS

PET SHOP BOYS (one of the many groups I thought I grew up with when I was younger...not knowing there stuff was before my time lol! They perform a medley....my Mum continues to sing louder than them, whilst going on about how good they are...LADY GAGA passes tru to sing with them looking sick in an outfit reminiscent of a fine china set....BRANDON FLOWERS....does a quick bar or two with 'em to complete his childhood dream...when they all sing together my ears bleed....by Brandon's expression and 'side-eye' looks, I think he blames Lady Gaga for a terrible harmony....

THE END....apple crumble and custard time....

Wasted: Royal Mail SUCKS!!!

The postmen in my area are WASTE!!! I swear down!

Many times I have been shaken out of my sweeeeeet dreams of sunshine and sea breeze to my stupid doorbell (which is louder than a foghorn). IT'S THE POSTMAN!!! You literally fly down the stairs like some crazy ghost screaming 'GIMME A SEC'! Jingling keys as loudly as you can while you try and get yourself clothed before the eyes of the poststranger - breaking a sweat - you twist the door latch and open the door to......yes you've guessed it....AIRRRRRRRR!!!! You were in such a rush grabbing clothes together that you don't even realise that the 'SORRY YOU WERE OUT' note is already lying beneath the letterbox!

I remember my Mum wanted a package soooo much that she woke me up at 7am! She was that serious about it! Anyway, why is it that when the doorbell did ring I looked out the window upstairs and saw that the dude was jogging to the postvan he had parked on the street across from mine!!!!! WHAAAAT! Speeding to the door in my dressing gown and jumping into my dunks, (never attempt this look if you have bait White dressing gown on and you live near a bus stop like me), I ran outta my house and hopped over the gate to hail him down like I was doing the 'signal the plane' dance. BOY......he was dust! ....Then my bus went past.....as usual, the people in my area get another glimpse of my bizness!!!!

Why am I having to chase them???? What is this??? I ain't some nutty babymama after child support??? They need to calm their asses down and wait a minute or two before they go. I mean that man was not serious.....ringing the doorbell then making a getaway??? He's going on like he gets to keep the parcel........fool. My mum was mad at me like I never ran hard enough....ERM.....I WAS IN MY DRESSING GOWN!!!!WHO IS ON ROAD IN A DRESSING GOWN WITH NO TROUSERS AND KICKS???!!!

And the package that was supposed to arrive today and I got an email confirming this......where is it.....?

New Music Video: T.I. ft. Justin Timberlake 'Dead & Gone'

I'm sure everyone saw T.I.'s Grammy performance of 'Dead & Gone' and thought, 'Damn! He performed like it was his last show ever...he even switched up the Rap Pack look and came out Hood and Proper (lol) with a beanie hat tilted T.I.P-style.' For those who don't know the story behind the song, taking it 'back to the hood' was his way of stripping all things Hollywood to deliver his message with sincerity to those plastic Grammy heads. 'Dead & Gone' is a poignant tribute to his childhood friend and former personal assistant, Philant Johnson. Unfortunately, Johnson was shot after one of T.I.'s concerts in 2006 and as I have read in many interviews over the years, T.I. constantly brings it up and blames himself for his death. .

With T.I's current circumstances surrounding his prison sentence, he has taken a more reflective attitude in his music. This new outlook is clearly expressed in 'Dead & Gone', which, unlike his previous videos, is much darker, visually and symbollically.

Good Points: The opening scripture and bleak cinematography - is this how T.I. sees his future in pen?

Bad Points: I dunno why but whenever I see Justin Timberlake on the screen he breaks the flow of sincerity.

The piano set alight - hollow and cliched.....the car set alight in the 'Crazy in Love' video did more for me....lol..

Music Videos: Coldplay 'Life in Technicolor'

Do I love this video or do I love this video?!
Coldplay's 'Life in Technicolor ii' video is currently a product of the 'shameless rinsing' effect on MTV but I LOVE IT!!!! Punch & Judy ain't got nuttin' on these puppets mayne...pyrotechnics, motorbike stunts....what more could you ask for?

Whenever I watch this video, I instantly smile - inside and out (awww)! My favourite parts are when the stage crew puppet helps prop cymbals back up that have fallen (the smallest details are the best), the helicopter coming to pick up the band before, candidly, smashing through a window.....

Good Points: The explosions and Chris Martin's puppet crowd surfing

Bad Points: The fact that nothing like this would have ever happened in my school days...

New Music: 50 Cent 'Shut Your...'

I love when US rappers do the whole Patois thing and start claiming that their ancestors were Jamaican when people are puzzled by it. Busta Rhymes sounded kinda lame whenever he dropped the Yardie bars (and I doubt he'll brave that again...I hope). When 50 Cent dropped the word 'bloodcl**t' in 'I Get Money' the only thing I could do was laugh at how poor it sounded! It fell flatter than Beyonce's tumble down the stairs! Even though that memorable bar was supposed to incite a pandemonium and fear, he got zero ratings and everyone shook a leg without a care to the nonsense this guys spits. But why do we dance along to 50 Cent's music....his beats. Club bangers and car bangers are his forte so he excels in that sense. Beefing wasn't his forte, (please refer to the Cam'ron 'Curtis' era), however, he is stepping up his dissbacks (Rick Ross ain't a boss no mo'!).

50 teamed up with DJ Premier for his new track, 'Shut Your Bloodcl**t Mouth' which I must say has a nice beat, I mean c'mon, it's a product of Premo! In regards to this, why is DJ Premier giving this clown good beats....50 is not in the Hip Hop game for the love of rap...he blatantly tells us in every song he does that he is all about the money.

'Hate It Or Love It' was my lyrical highlight for 50. Although I will be honest and admit that I haven't wasted any more time getting to know his unreleased tracks, please enlighten me if there are other rap gems that top the honesty he expressed so poetically when him and the Game teamed up.

Good Points: The beat is NICE!!

Bad Points: The Ja-fake-an chorus and him talking 'smack' as ususal....boring....and most of his rapping is inaudible due to permanent lockjaw

New Music: Lil' Mama ft. Fanny Pack 'Truly in Love'

If you watch America's Best Dance Crew 2 on MTV, I'm sure you are very familiar with Fanny Pack. Personally, I like the show but I cannot STAND the way Lil' Mama cuts everyone up when they are talking. It's quite distgusting to watch as she is much younger and inexperienced compared to JC Chasez and the black guy who wears the same outfit in every episode - in a different colour. The guys are both clearly much older than her but for some reason MTV must think she's a star judge since she is always in the middle. Anyway, I could go on and on about her showing a lack of respect for dance veterans and the forced presenting from the Saved By the Bell dude but I shall move on.

I do not know who the winners of this season are and I do not want to know either. I hate people spoiling it for me and I don't wanna know more so I haven't researched this video any further than I should have! However, this video that has just been released might be good enough evidence to predict that Fanny Pack did quite well. Either that or Lil' Mama is taking them out on a pity date. Aside from that, Miss Bow Wow in a Wig has decided that it's time to pull a Kanye and jump on the T-Pain vocoder flex. YES, she is SINGING!!!Jamie Foxx once said:"...Hardcore rapper but he's glossy..." Hmmm...I think this may link to Lil' Mama's weak rep as a hoodchick cos its waning a little, well I never bought it when she danced around singing about makeup on her debut. Oh yeah, a member of the Fanny Pack made my ears bleed with his adlibs nearer the end of the clip....don't worry - you will know when you hear it! It annoys me cos he's the best looking one.....WHY DID YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH???? You've ruined it now.

Good points: The dancing in the second verse

Low points: Lil' Mama dancing with the bank clerk and the Fanny Pack dude's WEAK adlibs killed it
